Terms of Service
Effective date: October 23, 2026
Expert Classroom is a program and website operated by Texas Real Estate Academy, LLC (“TREA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These terms explain use of expertclassroom.live and its accounts, class pages, registration and administrative services. Read the terms presented for the service you use. If you do not agree, do not register or use the applicable account service.
1. Which agreements apply
These general website terms do not replace the registration terms you accept for a class or any instructor agreement, fee or liaison addendum, Payment Processing Addendum, or sponsorship agreement you separately accept. Those specific agreements govern their respective subjects. A website update or changed database value does not amend an executed agreement or change an agreed fee, share or refund obligation.
Our Privacy Policy explains personal-information handling. It is not a substitute for any separate consent that the law or a registration process requires.
2. Accounts and authorized access
Provide accurate information and use an account you are authorized to control. Protect your credentials and tell us about suspected misuse. When acting for an organization, you represent that you have authority for that action.
Instructor, assistant, sponsor, representative and other permissions apply only to the records and functions assigned to that account. Delegated access does not make someone an instructor or authorize that person to act for an unrelated instructor. Do not use shared credentials or attempt to bypass an access restriction.
3. Classes, registration and CE
The class page identifies the class, instructor, schedule, location, price and other applicable enrollment details. A sponsorship or complimentary arrangement applies only as stated for that class; the website does not promise that every class is free.
Register for yourself, supply accurate professional-license information, show the required identification, arrive on time and behave professionally. Full attendance is required for CE eligibility; registration or payment alone does not earn credit. TREA administers reporting to the Texas Real Estate Commission. Learners are responsible for choosing courses appropriate to their license and CE needs and reporting a missing or incorrect record to us.
Scheduling, capacity and availability can change. Contact us or the named instructor if you receive a class cancellation or need help with an existing registration.
4. Payments, sponsorships and refunds
The instructor is the seller and merchant of record for the instructor’s classes. Official online payments are processed through the designated Expert Classroom checkout using the instructor’s Stripe connected account. A receipt or card statement may identify that instructor or business. TREA operates the platform and CE administration.
Learner refunds are available only before the class begins under the registration terms. Request a refund from the named instructor before that time. The instructor decides refunds; TREA does not require prior approval of that decision. The instructor may choose to grant a discretionary refund after that time, but the standard registration terms do not promise one. The instructor informs TREA so payment, registration, attendance and CE records can be reconciled. This does not restrict a refund required by law or an applicable processor, card-network or cancellation obligation.
Sponsor charges, seat commitments, cancellation obligations, instructor subscriptions and revenue shares follow the specific agreement accepted for that arrangement. General website terms do not create a new fee, guarantee a processor’s settlement date, or alter the allocation of processor fees in an executed agreement.
5. Materials and appropriate use
TREA or its licensors own the website, course materials, designs and other protected content. You may use material within the permission provided for your account, class or instructor duties. Do not redistribute or sell protected material, copy private rosters, send spam, submit false attendance or CE records, distribute malware, interfere with the service, or obtain access you have not been granted. Uses permitted by applicable law remain permitted.
Information and teaching materials are educational. They do not guarantee a particular licensing, employment, income, referral or business result and do not replace professional advice for a specific transaction.
6. Communications and media
We use the communication permissions and preferences applicable to the registration, account or request. Event communications and permitted follow-up are described at registration. Message and data rates may apply where texts are offered. Use the opt-out method provided or contact us for help; any additional consent required for promotional messages is separate.
Any permission for photography, recording or use of your likeness or voice is the permission you expressly accepted for that registration or activity. These general website terms do not add a broader media release.
7. Outside services and availability
Payments, embedded content and other outside services may be governed by their providers’ separate terms. We do not control a provider’s account approval, holds, payout timing or service availability.
To the extent permitted by law, website services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. This does not remove an obligation in an applicable accepted agreement or excuse rights that cannot legally be waived.
8. Access restrictions and responsibility
We may restrict access for unauthorized use, fraud, material violations, nonpayment under an applicable agreement, or conduct that threatens people, records or systems. Restricting access does not erase recordkeeping duties or any payment or refund obligation that remains owed.
To the extent permitted by law, TREA is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or a remedy that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
9. Changes and governing law
Updates will be identified by an effective date and apply prospectively, with notice or new consent where required. They do not retroactively change an executed agreement or the terms applicable to a completed purchase.
Texas law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory law that applies. Any dispute provision in a separately accepted agreement continues to govern that agreement; these terms do not add mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
